How are sales on CG Trader at the moment?

Sales are good I guess. Similar amounts each month.

Plus CGT take less money than TS so.... :P

I'd say its worth it.

Definitely, leave SquidGuild.
We've been selling there almost 18 years and can admit they don't respect their vendors.
This is the reason they are going down so quickly and lots of artists are leaving them. Just publish on more websites and forget their squidguild.
CgTrader is giving away higher % without any limitations than Turbosquid's squidguild.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but doesn't the SquidGuild require that you sell exclusively on Turbo Squid? Personally, I wouldn't recommend "putting all my eggs in one basket" because you're at the mercy of the site: if anything goes wrong or changes, there's not much you can do.

I would say to upload a few products here and see how many sales you get and how much money you make.

My sales have been better than TS for a year. I left TS entirely due to their "low price guarantee".

TurboSquid is now kind of old and ANCIENT type place. Pathetic service and very low royal % for artists. Even after SquidGuild, their royalty % is very less.

FOR ME:
CGTrader gives better sale and profit ratio than TurboSquid squid guild. In CGTrader, we have better opportunity to communicate, take feedback/rating from your customers and be social with everyone for more creative and self-improvement.
A better place to grab 3d FreeLance. Posting jobs, galleries etc.

Still, some extra perk is always better than normal. So we can say stick with TS, but definitely YES for leaving squid guild and come to CGTrader and analyze your self the better profit and artist experience.

TS was good for me couple years ago, they suck big time lately... CGT is way better

I agree with Turbosquid. I was with them since 2006 but the anti-competitive nature of their business practices leaves something to be desired. The non-exclusive artists are treated like the "red headed stepchild" of the family. Couple this latest stunt by TS and the low royalty rates for non-exclusive artists and leaving was a easy decision. It certainly isn`t going to get any better over there in the near future.

Same here.. I also had 3 quick sales and then it stopped again... My last sale here was in beginning of March. Nothing from then on... But Sales on TS stays constant 3-6 sales per month...already had 3 there for april...
