Freelancing, how does this work?

Discussion started by elpechero

Hello, i applied for a job, but i don't know what to do now. I mean, i've already finished the request but idk what to do now, where to click to send the work for approval or such or idk (yeah, im new in this site).

Do i have to browse my portfolio and show the renders of the project or i have to click on save and then post the images in the comment area?

Is there a buttom for uploading your blen.file or any program file?

Thanks in advance.

conditionally, the order can be divided into 3 stages:

1. You send a request for the project. At this stage, the buyer only chooses the contractor, even if you take up the work at this stage, payment is not guaranteed.

2. The entrant (usually after the negotiations) accepts you as a performer (at this point the entrant’s money is transferred to the СGTRader), and from that moment you can start working. Intermediate files (usually renders) can be attached to messages in the discussion of the project.

3. At this stage, the project is received (for this, you attach the final result to the message so that the bidder can download it). After the buyer receives the file, if he is satisfied with everything, he closes the project and the money is transferred to your brush.

A small explanation - the one who creates the project is the purchaser (he pays money). If you want to sell the finished model please do not create a project. For ready-made models there is another section of the site :)

I tried to state the general principle. If you still have any questions, ask :)

Once the entrant sends the payment to CG Trader, how will the performer know when to start the work? Will he/she be notified officially in some way..??

There will be an email notification. It seems that there will be a notification through the internal messenger, but I don’t remember anymore, sorry :)

You should never start working untill a client made prepayment. If you already did such mistake, then at least don't send the files.
