Extremely slow website leading speed

I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this issue, it is taking so long to load each page. Uploading any files or downloading any attachments take ages. Sometimes the website just doesn't load. I know that this isn't due to my internet speed or the devices i use

True. It could mean the traffic is being routed through other links and those links are becoming congested.
This has been happening for around 2 weeks now, maybe it's just the website and not an issue from my side
