Am i supposed to answer EVERY message?

For the last two days, I was offline so I couldn't look at my cgtrader account.
Today I logged in and, oh what a surprise, I got some messages.

One of them was just a friendly question about future models I would upload, which I answered.
One of them asked me if I do any kind of freelance projects, which I answered.
Two of them are price offers, for the same model, the same User, which I both accepted, but I didn't write any answer. (He wanted just the STL files not the other 4 file formats which i also provided, so he wanted to pay just 20%! Hooray, math logic!)
And one of the messages was clearly spam so I reported it and didn't answer it! Or it was really a very urgent Business Deal and i am the only person he wants to speak with. Anyway:

After I clicked on the Dashboard I saw that my response time going from 1,17h to 5,25h which is kind of ok, because of 2days offline.
BUT why the heck is the response rate dropped from 100% to 72%.
Do I have to write an answer to every message I get?

"Oh, you are a Nigerian prince who wants to give me money for free? SURE i am IN!"
"Oh, you want to pay just 20% of the price because you just need 1 of the 5 provided file formats? I can't make this because I have 20 file formats of this model which I have on my pc so you have just to pay 5%! It is simple math! Oh, I just realize I cant sell you a model for under 3$ so I have to give it away for free!"

Unfortunatelly you need to answer even spammers if you want to keep 100% rate. I usually sent them "FU" message and report conversation. Doesn't take too long.

By the way, price offers or promotional mesages from CGT team doesn't count, so you can ignore them if you want.

To maintain the response rating of 100%, you must reply to all messages.

I tried at the beginning, then stopped. On the next spammer, the fantasy left me :(

@marpro, only first reply in conversation matters. Once you replied, it doesn't matter anymore who ends conversation, that doesn't affect the counter.
