If I had known that a piece of wood would be enough to win a prize, I wouldn't have worked so hard.
I'm a bit bitter that I did all this work only for CGT to be unable to verify it; it's too complicated for an automated system to understand. A human would have been amazed by the quality and creativity of the work—the atmosphere, the lighting, the design.
Admittedly, the verification didn't work on my file because one texture isn't square, and there are too many polygons. I thought the theme was "Nature in High Definition"... This is the only time in my life I've participated in a competition, and certainly the last.
