The verification process is very unclear; some of my files are 100% complete, but not all. The number of textures has a significant impact.
I sometimes provide multiple versions of the same texture to avoid repetitive textures; this should be a plus, but in this case, it makes your file unverifiable. I imagine everything is automated and no human actually reviews your work. Therefore, I'm ignoring the verification score.
Recently, I created a 3D printing version of a file at the request of a client on the site. My client is very satisfied; he prints my files without any problems (I'll post photos of the final printed project soon), but the automatic checker tells me that my file isn't printable.

If you happen to submit a file as a pointcache, for example, it will lower your score because it's not supported by the site. Yet, it adds value.
I no longer take the rating into account; it doesn't reflect reality. Besides, I remain available to my clients for information, modifications, or customizations—that's much more important to me.
