The idea for this project came into my mind when I was reading my father's book that he's still working on. I thought it was a great ideia to make a cover for it. I wanted to make something like a steampunk visual for this project, that weird technology stolen from the future and adapted for somewhere in 17th century. The book takes place in 17th century with some passages where the protagonist shares some knowledge with Isaac Newton. There's a scene in the book that they go through a hidden passage that leads to some old basement with a time travel machine. This project took me some months to make it because I was very commited to the quality of it and I only worked on when I had no work. I really love each detail and It has been a very challenging project in some aspects like lighting and lightining simulations made with tyFlow. I would like to appreciate the help of a friend of mine called Darlan Vieira, who's made a quick sketch of the machine based on the description written in the book and the initial modeling for the machine with the TV screen in the front and these towers.
