This is a bracket to help convert the TronXY X5SA Pro 3D printer from Bowden Drive to Direct Drive extrusion. This bracket creates a platform to mount the extruder drive motor assembly above the extruder carriage.

Users need four, 3mm machine screws with nuts to mount the bracket to the carriage. All other hardware is supplied.

The holes for mounting the drive motor assembly are undersized so that the mounting screws will self tap into the plastic, rather than using nuts. I've found this works extremely well with PLA.

Other materials you'll need include longer motor wires for the drive motor, a short PTFE tube to connect the drive assembly to the hotend assembly, and some zip ties to help organize the wires.
