The central piece can be 3D printed as many times as needed, can be locked in one of 4 orientations, extend a shaft with as many units or timings as needed. Then print and place the matching end caps to complete the hobby shaft intended for experiments.

Complete set is 3 pieces.Can always scale entire object as one.Shaft can be extended as needed.Added 3dsmax file for modification.
