Historical description of the coin:

This image shows a 10 centimos coin from Spain dated 1941.The obverse (left side) features the coat of arms of Spain from the Franco era, with an eagle holding a shield that contains various heraldic symbols representing different regions of Spain. The shield is crowned and flanked by the columns of Hercules with a ribbon bearing a motto. The denomination DIEZ CÉNTIMOS (10 céntimos) appears on either side of the shield.The reverse (right side) shows a medieval knight on horseback, carrying a lance, which is a representation of El Cid (Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar), a famous Spanish medieval warrior. Below the horse is the word ESPAÑA (Spain) and the date 1941 at the bottom.The coin appears to be made of aluminum or a similar light-colored metal alloy, which was common for Spanish coins of this period due to metal shortages during and after the Spanish Civil War. The third image on the right shows the edge/thickness of the coin.This 10 céntimos coin was minted during the early years of Francisco Franco's dictatorship in Spain, just after the end of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939).
