The Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer was a light tank destroyer used by Germany during the Second World War. Its development began in 1943 as a response to the need for a low-profile, well-armored, and cost-effective anti-tank vehicle. Based on the proven Czechoslovakian Panzer 38(t) chassis, the Hetzer entered service in 1944 and was primarily deployed on the Eastern and Western Fronts. Armed with a 7.5 cm PaK 39 L/48 gun and protected by well-sloped frontal armor, the Hetzer proved to be an effective ambush vehicle despite its limited internal space and restricted gun traverse. Production continued until the end of the war in 1945.
This model is a realistic and accurate representation of the Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer, created using Blender and based on original German technical drawings and historical references. It is suitable for rendering, simulations, videogames, and 3D printing.
