DESCRIPTION

A complete modern single-bay auto repair shop: a flat-roof workshop building with a fully fitted-out interior, an ANIMATED two-post car hoist, a sectional garage door with its full opener hardware, and more than 30 tools and pieces of equipment already placed. Drop it into a city block, a game level or an archviz scene and it is a working garage straight away.

ANIMATED CAR HOIST. The two-post lift is a real 240-frame seamless loop at 24 fps: the carriages and swing arms rise from 0.35 m to 1.45 m and return. The animation is baked onto object transforms, so it survives export and plays in GLB, glTF, FBX and Alembic - not just in Blender.

THE GARAGE DOOR HAS NO SEE-THROUGH GAPS. The four-section door is built as three layers - a grooved outer face, a continuous backer and a continuous inner skin - so every section line reads as a crisp recessed shadow groove with solid material behind it. You can put a camera anywhere and no light leaks through the panel joints.

WHAT IS MODELLED

BuildingFlat roof with parapet and metal coping, fibre-cement panel cladding, cedar slat feature band, sign panel with 3D lettering, glazed personnel door, front window, clerestory ribbon window, concrete slab and driveway apron, LED wall packs, safety bollards, rooftop packaged AC unit and a wall-mounted security camera.

Garage door and opener hardwareCurved side tracks running up and back to horizontal ceiling runs on hangers, torsion bar with spring sleeves and cable drums, roller stubs, hinge plates, weather seals at the floor and jambs, interior lift handle, and a ceiling opener with rail, trolley, curved drawbar and motor head on straps.

Two-post car hoistBaseplates with anchor bolts, C-profile columns, overhead beam, safety cutoff bar, carriages, two-stage swing arms with rubber lift pads, hydraulic power unit with motor and control buttons, hose run over the beam, yellow safety sleeves at the post bases.

Interior fit-outPolished concrete floor with saw-cut control joints and painted bay lines, dark impact wainscot with painted walls above, workbench with bench vise, pegboard, wall cabinets, rolling tool chest, steel shelving, parts bin organiser, work stool, vertical air compressor, mechanic's creeper, wall tire rack with mounted tires, floor jack, jack stands, oil drain pan, car ramps, battery and charger, jerry can, propane tank, buckets, crates, step ladder, fire extinguisher, first aid box, and assorted bottles, tools and consumables.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION195,222 triangles379,849 vertices as exported - split per unique normal and UV, which is what a DCC import reports. The native .blend holds 357,545 welded vertices and both numbers describe the same mesh.326 separate mesh objects117 materials - 13 for the building, the rest carried in by the equipment props which keep their own original materialsTriangulated polygon mesh, no n-gonsReal-world metric scale, Z-up in the .blend5.55 m wide x 10.45 m deep x 4.97 m high overall - the depth includes the driveway apron and the height includes the rooftop AC unit; the building itself is 5.4 x 8.0 mEvery mesh carries a UV mapNo rigging, no cameras and no lights in the exports

MATERIALS AND TEXTURESPBR materials throughout. The building surfaces use baked PNG texture maps with matching normal maps - fibre-cement panel, cedar slat, polished concrete floor, wainscot, painted wall and site concrete - at 512 to 1536 px. The equipment props use solid PBR materials. 22 texture images ship with the model and are embedded in the GLB and USDZ.

FILES INCLUDEDGLB (self-contained, start here), glTF + BIN, FBX, OBJ + MTL, BLEND, USDC, USDZ, STL, PLY, ABC, plus a textures archive with all PNG maps flat and in a textures subfolder for the USD file, and a README with the full spec.

IMPORTANT - TEXTURE PATHSThe glTF, OBJ/MTL and FBX reference their maps by bare filename, so extract the PNGs beside the model file. GLB and USDZ have textures embedded. The USDC looks for its maps in a textures subfolder, which is why they ship in both layouts.

ENGINE AND RENDER NOTESImport scale is metres. The preview images were rendered with a sky-and-sun environment and a ground plane for presentation - NO SKY, HDRI, ENVIRONMENT, GROUND PLANE OR VEHICLE IS INCLUDED. What ships is the building, the hoist, the door hardware and the interior props exactly as listed. There are no built-in lights, so light the interior through the door and clerestory window or place your own fixtures. Every wall opening is filled with real geometry and the door is solid, so the building holds up from outside with no gaps.

Verified by CGTrader
Verified models are of higher quality as they have
passed CGT Standard technical and visual checks,
making them more professional-grade 3D assets.

FBX
This FBX file has successfully passed the CGT Standard technical and visual checks. The verification results are detailed in the section below.
File & scene
Binary FBX
Binary FBX file is more compact and faster to load and process.

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras
Learn more
Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal
Learn more
No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.
Learn more
Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
