The Japanese No.13-class submarine chasers were built from 1939–1944 for the Imperial Japanese Navy as anti-submarine escorts. A total of 15 were built and 10 were lost in combat. Their early armament typically consisted of a single 76.2 mm gun, two 13.2 mm anti-aircraft machine guns, and 36 depth charges launched from two projectors and one thrower.
