1/1800th scale E-class destroyer model. Certain elements not to scale.

The E and F-class destroyers were British Royal Navy destroyers built between 1932–1935, with 18 ships completed across the two closely related classes. Ten were lost during World War II. Their standard armament consisted of four single 120 mm (4.7 in) guns, two quadruple 533 mm torpedo tube mounts, anti-aircraft machine guns, and depth charges; wartime refits often replaced torpedo tubes with anti-aircraft weapons, added Oerlikon guns, Hedgehog anti-submarine mortars, radar, and larger depth-charge loads. The class was among the first British destroyer groups designed from the start with ASDIC sonar, reflecting the growing importance of anti-submarine warfare before World War II.

This model is designed and tested at 1/1800th scale, but up-scaling and down-scaling are possible. Since the model is optimized for 1/1800th scale, it is not ideal to print larger versions due to a lack of detail. The gun barrels and mast have been enlarged.

This model includes three designs, c.1939, 1940, and 1943.
