These are the instructions to build a scale 3D radio-controlled model tugboat with a link to the stl files that you can purchase through cgtrader.
The tug was built in Glasgow on the River Clyde in 1981, for moving large ships in and out of the river, including some of the greatest ocean liners such as the QE2.
As a model she is interesting because of the unusually tall fire monitor platforms that she was built with and these are designed to work in the model. Despite these the model has proved extremely stable, and with single large propellor and Kort nozzle to steer (provided with the stl files), she is a fun and manouevrable model in both forwards and reverse. She is excellent for competitive steering and docking competitions. She is 1/48th scale but could be built larger or smaller as required.
The model was built totally on a filament printer. The largest parts fit within a 220mm cube.
As a model this is a reasonably good starter model if new to 3D printing or model making. There are approximately 50 parts to print and attach together. Though there is considerable detail, most is built into the prints.
This instruction book provides 25 pages of detail on the putting together as well as the mechanical parts required.
As always I am available through the messaging on cgtrader to give help or advice.
