This set of files enables you to build a fully working 1/96th scale RC model of the Hellenic Navy's armoured cruiser Georgios Averof. The files will create a highly detailed scale model of the ship - everything you see in the photos is included in the files apart of course from the hardware such as propellor shafts and motors.
The Hellenic Navy Armoured Cruiser, Georgios Averof, was built in Italy in 1909, bought by Greece in 1910 as the flagship of the Greek Navy and served in 2 world wars before being retired and preserved as a museum ship one can visit on the outskirts of Athens.
The model is fully working, with electric motors and Radio Control and was built on a 3D filament printer with a bed of at least 220mm cubed. The model is 1/96th scale creating approximately a boat 1500mm long by 220mm wide. It's an unusual subject as few model-makers build models of pre WW1, pre-Dreadnought battleships, and yet she is an impressive model to see pondside because of the wealth of scale detail modelled.
A full instruction booklet is provided. If you wish to look at that before purchase of these files, a free copy is available here https://www.cgtrader.com/free-3d-print-models/hobby-diy/robotics/rc-battleship-georgios-averof-instructions which will show you everything that is involved in building this model.
As always, I am available via the cgtrader messaging to give advice of help and I always enjoy seeing your finished models!
