Hello to all CGTrader users,
I would like to draw your attention to a scam that I almost fell victim to.
Someone is pretending to be a CGTrader member in order to try and steal your banking information, using the excuse that a client has purchased one of your models and that you need to update your banking details (card number, name, etc.).
You are then redirected to a site that asks you to confirm you are the account owner by entering the amount present in your bank account.
That's when I started to have doubts. After doing a little research, I immediately contacted my bank to block my card.
Thanks to God, no withdrawals were made. However, since I had clicked the link on my phone, I also changed all my account passwords (just to be safe).
Please be careful — the scammer is very cunning and even sends the message directly to your inbox on the CGTrader site.
