Cgtrader really screwed themselves over, as well as sellers and customers. Multiple bad choices at once by someone high up at the same time.
Someone made the poor decision to launch AI automated NSFW takedowns of models which are flagging everything over vaguely phallic models like mushrooms,food,trees,ect. At the same time they're getting rid of all NSFW models (I think) in a major and sudden policy change. And they also decided to launch a bugged out subscription service that doesn't let people download models and tries to fine you $50 if you cancel.
So I imagine what customer service agents that weren't replaced with AI are swimming in support tickets, because so much was changed at once and implemented so poorly.
I can't even choose to buy subscription models, but I can't download them, and I'm not the only one.
So please don't take it out on the support staff some executive is responsible for all this,not the customer service people. Hopefully whoever's poor decisions caused all these issues is held responsible.
