This premium model recreates the POB (ПOБ) Russian bounding anti-personnel landmine, commonly referred to by personnel and collectors as “Pilka” (Пилка) due to its distinctive segmented Frag body profile.
Designed for EOD training, technical-intelligence familiarization, and classroom instruction, this set includes both a complete external version and a fully sectioned cutaway, allowing clear study of the internal mechanical layout and bounding configuration.
All components are inert, non-functional, and safe for hands-on training.

Background
The POB / ПOБ bounding mine, nicknamed «Пилка», is a Cold War–era Soviet design intended to propel upward before functioning, increasing fragmentation coverage above ground level. Its compact body and mechanical fuze system made it durable and widely recognizable. This mine uses wave shaping to produce the most lethal frag pattern. This Fuze uses one main det in the center that sets off mini detcord to boosters located at the top and bottom of the mine. This causes the explosives waves to form at each end and throw frag out in even paths. The mine has a cocked striker thats held by 3 locking balls the balls are held in by rope wrapped around the fuze once launched it reaches a height of 40-60CM. The rope is unwinded and releases the locking balls which in turn release the striker that hits the primer that then sets off the center det that makes the two mini detcord sets to set off the booster which in return sets off the main charge.
