Purchased this model for a History project for my son. The model is pretty nice a good level of detail, but it is incredibly hard to 3d print. I have thousands of hours of 3D printing, and this model has been the one that has given me the most trouble. Despite being split into parts, many of those parts just do not have an orientation that limits the ammount of supports required. By the time you add enought supports to print the parts, then trying to remove the supports breaks the model as the parts are so thin. I ended up ordering water soluble support... You will also need to order plenty of crazy glue as all these parts need to be glued, and most do not have any key slots or method of holding except for the glue. Despite this, with enough patience and re-printing of parts, it did turn out nice.
One of the main part is missing. The model is useless without the missing part. I wrote to the designer about that but haven't got any response yet.
Isn't there any way to get a full refund?
I wasted my money!
