Chemical Storage Tank with Platform, Pipes, and Pump – H0 Scale

This STL model represents a highly detailed vertical chemical storage tank designed for industrial dioramas and H0 model railways.

Dimensions: approx. 20 mm diameter, 70 mm height (H0 scale).

Details included: access ladder, maintenance platform with safety railing, pipe connections, flanges, valves, and a recirculation pump.

For optimized FDM 3D printing, the tank is divided into three stackable sections. This ensures easy printing, reliable results, and reduced support requirements.

Assembly can be done simply by gluing the parts. For extra stability, a 1/4 Inch (or 6 mm) threaded rod can be inserted through the center, making the model extremely sturdy and long-lasting.

This tank is an ideal detail element for chemical plants, refineries, or industrial railway layouts, bringing authentic atmosphere and technical charm to your diorama.

-Designed for FDM printers— no supports required-PLA recommended-0.4 mm nozzle-0.2 mm layer height-All parts are designed to lie flat on the print bed for optimal print quality.-Grated walkways can be printed without top and bottom layers, using ~65% grid infill to simulate realistic industrial flooring.

A threaded rod (6 mm or 1/4 inch) is recommended to assemble and align the central parts. Pre-modeled holes accommodate this.

If 1/4 inch threaded rod does not slide through easily, drill out the holes to 1/4 inch diameter.

A brim or skirt may improve adhesion depending on your printer setup.

Painting Recommendations:-Prime in silver or grey, then highlight valves or risers in yellow or contrasting colors-Apply a sepia wash or darker colors to bring out surface detail and simulate grime or rust-For railings, ladders, and walkways, drybrushing adds realistic weathering.
