Ancient Roman Signet Ring LEG·XVI GALLICA

A highly detailed Roman legion signet ring inspired by Legio XVI Gallica and the visual language of ancient Roman military coinage.

The centerpiece features a powerful walking lion sculpted in high relief, with a detailed mane, muscular anatomy and expressive features. The composition is surrounded by the inscriptions “LEG·XVI” and “GALLICA”, giving the face of the ring the appearance of an ancient Roman coin or military seal.

The sculpted relief sits within a substantial oval signet ring with a smooth, solid shank and raised outer border. A textured, irregular coin-like surface adds an aged historical character while creating strong contrast with the polished lion and lettering.

The design works particularly well with two-tone metal combinations, oxidized silver, antiqued finishes or contrasting metal inserts, as demonstrated in the visualization.
