Ancient Roman Signet Ring LEG·XV APOLLINARIS
A highly detailed Roman legion signet ring inspired by Legio XV Apollinaris and the imagery of ancient Roman military seals and coinage.
The centerpiece features a powerful winged griffin sculpted in high relief, combining the body of a lion with the head and wings of an eagle. Fine feather detailing, muscular anatomy, raised claws and an expressive head give the mythical creature a strong sculptural presence.
The relief is surrounded by the inscriptions “LEG·XV” and “APOLLINARIS”, creating the appearance of an ancient military coin or legionary emblem. The irregular textured surface of the recessed field reinforces the historical, hand-struck coin aesthetic.
The oval centerpiece is integrated into a substantial classical signet ring with a smooth tapered shank and raised border. The design is especially suitable for two-tone metal combinations, oxidized silver, antiqued finishes and contrasting metal inserts.
Created as a detailed jewelry 3D model suitable for 3D printing, lost-wax casting, prototyping and professional jewelry manufacturing.
