Ancient Roman Signet Ring LEG·III AVGVSTA
This 3D model represents a signet ring inspired by the Roman legion Legio III Augusta, featuring the legendary symbol of Pegasus, the winged horse of classical mythology. In Roman military tradition, Pegasus was used as the emblem of this legion and symbolized speed, strength, and divine inspiration in battle.
At the center of the ring is a detailed sculptural relief of Pegasus in motion with raised wings, capturing the power and elegance of the mythical creature. The anatomical detailing of the horse and the carefully modeled feathers of the wings create a dynamic composition that emphasizes movement and heroic symbolism.
Surrounding the central motif is the Latin inscription “LEG III AUGUSTA”, referencing the historic Roman legion founded during the reign of Augustus. The legion is well known for its campaigns in Britain and its important role in the expansion of the Roman Empire.
The ring follows the classic Roman-style signet structure, with a smooth polished band and an oval bezel that frames the relief scene. The contrast between the polished frame and the textured background enhances the visual depth of the Pegasus motif.
The model is optimized for 3D printing, lost-wax casting, CNC machining, and high-quality rendering, allowing production in silver, gold, platinum, or other precious metals.
