5 Piece Self-Watering Planter 3D print model

This is my first planter design. It is made to work with both plants that benefit from water wicking, and succulents that prefer not to be wicking.

Each drop-in has a mesh at the bottom to keep dirt/soil from draining out or clogging up the drain vents. The drop-ins are raised 2.5mm off the base floor to allow for water to either drain out, or if the water level is kept above this level, to wick back into the soil. Drop-ins are made to be removed for easier cleaning of the base, or to swap out individual plants without disturbing the others. Filling for wicking plants is done by adding water to the curved container at the front to the level you desire (minimum 5mm deep for wicking. The wall is 15mm). For succulents, add water directly to the soil for each plant. Excess water will drain out, and can either be left in the bay, or wiped out.

I'm still working on finding a good (free at the moment) 3D modeling program I can use to make a bit better and more complex designs.
