Bring home the legendary Lun-class ekranoplan (Project 903), the Soviet Union’s one-of-a-kind “ground effect” sea monster. Powered by eight massive turbofans and armed with six Moskit anti-ship missiles, this futuristic hybrid of airplane and ship skimmed just meters above the waves at jet speeds. Perfectly detailed for collectors, hobbyists, and history enthusiasts, this 3D model captures the Lun’s unmistakable silhouette — from its forward engine cluster to the twin radar domes and missile launchers. A rare piece of Cold War innovation, now ready for your next project or display. For RC projects we have a lighter version.
3D printing settingsThis model is optimized for 3D printing and can be produced on most FDM or resin printers. For best results, print in sections (hull, wings, and missile tubes separately) at 0.1–0.2 mm layer height and use supports for the engine cluster and wingtip floats. Once printed, the parts can be easily sanded, primed, and painted to recreate the Lun’s distinctive Cold War appearance. Ideal for display models, educational projects, or dioramas, the finished piece makes a striking addition to any collection.
