Our 1:96 scale model captures her imposing presence at an impressive 1.3 meters in length, meticulously shaped using extensive photographic reference of USCGC Bertholf, combined with available blueprints of similar vessel types to ensure accurate proportions and authentic detail throughout. The package includes over 220 STL files covering the full hull and a wealth of accessories, including operational sliding rear ramp doors, four hangar door variants to display her as you choose, and a fully detailed 1:96 scale Phalanx CIWS that matches the ship perfectly — yet holds enough geometric precision to be scaled up to an impressive 40 cm standalone display model without losing its character. The model is also fully RC-ready, with articulated control surfaces and motor mounts built in from the ground up.

3D printing settingsDesigned with the home builder in mind, the hull assembles from approximately 20 core pieces sliced to fit comfortably on print beds as small as 22×22 cm, making this accessible on most standard FDM printers. Every hull section features integrated alignment and mounting details, and two dedicated clip types are included to hold pieces securely while adhesive sets — keeping the build process clean and accurate. Underwater and superstructure sections are separated into distinct parts, allowing builders to swap filament colors and skip an entire painting step. For those with color-capable printers, a 3MF file with embedded colors and textures is included for a vivid, ready-to-display result straight off the bed. The same textures also make this model an excellent asset for use in 3D game engines. All deck panels are removable and configurable as functional RC access lids or permanently glued shut, each with screw holes for easy reopening. The remaining 200+ files are accessories and optional details, giving you full control over the final level of complexity and finish.
