This is the same design blueprint as the Footbridge without lift but there are a few differences.

The differences include wider footbridge steps, bridge section has electrical and comms under the bridge.

This is a design that came about from a requirement for my model railway clubs new DCC layout, I needed a design that was practical to build modern and had the ability to have lifts added without changing the design much. I had been looking out for a practical design for a while but eventually went for the bridge design from Axminster station in Devon. I went to Axminster and look lots of photos and several measurements, if you’re ever in the area then there is an excellent café on the station.

This particular design isn’t 100% the same design but is very close in appearance, the height of the bridge was governed by my model railway clubs requirements and is high enough for catenary when placed on the platform and will span the track with clearance in a rural environment.

This design was designed and tested on a Bambu Labs A1 Printer with a 180mm x 180mm bed, most of the design was printed with a 0.4mm nozzle apart from the hand rails that were printed with a 0.2mm nozzle.
