Suskityrannus is an extinct genus of small tyrannosauroid theropod that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 92 million years ago. Though related to the giant Tyrannosaurus rex, Suskityrannus was much smaller, about the size of a modern-day coyote.It was referred to as Zuni coelurosaur or Zuni tyrannosaur in the past, as well as Zunityrannus in the documentary Planet Dinosaur.
