Flash charging technology is a fast charging technology released by BYD in Shenzhen on March 5, 2026. Its core charging performance is that it takes about 5 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 70% at room temperature, and about 9 minutes to charge to 97%; It takes about 12 minutes to charge from 20% to 97% in a low temperature environment of minus 30 ℃. This technology is a system engineering jointly constructed by batteries, vehicles, charging stations, and energy storage systems. It relies on second-generation blade batteries, and the vehicle is based on a global 1000V high-voltage architecture and adopts the electric drive reuse technology. Equipped with a sliding rail suspended T-shaped pile flash charging pile with a peak power of 1500kW for a single gun, and adopting a full temperature range intelligent thermal management system and a super fast release energy storage system.
