Photorealistic Dead Forest Tree

Stylised 3D Model, obtained by scanning a dead bonsai tree. Roots and fine branches included.

The model can be used to create fantasy forests, or in architectural visualisation.

The branches and roots require some polygons, but it still renders fast and can be used in realtime applications.

In the zip archive you'll find an OBJ file and an 8k texture map.

Not quite sure what to make of it. I wanted to print the model on an SLA-printer in a size fitting with a diorama in 1/35, but in fact it is very simple, no surface texture, no real depths. If you try to remesh it, you loose a lot of the smaller branches and twigs. Maybe it works just fine as a virtual model clothed in the colored texture file that comes with the purchase. As for printing it, it's fairly useless.
