DESCRIPTION

I present a 3D model of Submunition for cluster avia bomb
PTAB 2.5M (ПТАБ 2.5М) Training model (mockup).
Historical Background:
It is an improved version of the USSR-made PTAB-2.5 high-explosive anti-tank submunition.
It is the most mass-produced type of aerial bomb since the 1940s.
The PTAB-2.5M is normally ejected from the tail of RBK-250 (30 submunitions)
and RBK-500 (75 submunitions) cluster bombs.
Each submunition contains a shaped charge (SC) to defeat armored vehicles and also provides anti-personnel (AP) fragmentation.
The submunitions are made of sheet metal and the explosive is approximately 40-45% of the total weight.
Dimensions of the assembled model 388x87 mm. (original size).
The model is made in SolidWorks. It is intended primarily for 3D printing stand model - training model,
for use as a visual aid and is not a complete copy of the external forms of the original product.
Although it does display all the basic external elements. The model is adapted for the possibility of 3D printing and subsequent assembly of the product layout.
The model is assembled, contains files of all conditional parts (STL) in high-polygonal version to obtain qualitatively smooth forms.
Additionally, the set contains all files for obtaining high-quality realistic visualization with close-ups (smooth lines, selected surfaces for applying materials or textures),
texture files are texture inscriptions to be applied to surfaces.(see rendering examples).
In addition to solid model file formats, converted high detail polygonal file formats are additionally provided.
Mesh:
Vertices 473368
Faces 946792 (obj)

3D Features
The model includes animations (movement or actions) that can be played in supported software or engines.
The model has a skeleton or bone structure, making it ready for posing or animation.
PBR
Uses Physically Based Rendering materials, which give the model realistic lighting and surface properties.
Textures
The model includes image files (textures) that add color, patterns, or detail to its surfaces.
Materials
The model has material settings that define how surfaces look (color, shine, transparency, etc.).
UV Mapping
The model's surfaces are mapped to a 2D image, allowing textures to display correctly.
Plugins Used
Some external plugins were used to create the model. These may be required for full functionality.
3D printing
Indicates whether the designer marked this model as suitable for 3D printing.
Model is not 3D printable
The designer indicates this model is intended for digital use only (rendering, animation, or AR/VR) and not for 3D printing.
Geometry
Polygon mesh
A model built from polygons (triangles or quads) connected in a mesh.
946792 polygons
The total number of polygons (flat shapes) that make up the 3D model.
/ 473368 vertices
The number of points (corners) that define the shape of the model's polygons.
