While Blue Origin won a Human Landing System contract under NASA's Artemis program, their Blue Moon lander will initially be uncrewed. The Mark 1 lander will serve as a developmental prototype ahead of the crewed Mark 2 version, with a minimum of two flights performed to validate systems and build operational experience. Mark 1 differs from Mark 2 in several ways: It has only one BE-7 main engine instead of three, its propellant tanks are smaller and of a different layout, and it lacks a pressurized module for crew. The top deck supports mounting of up to three tons of unpressurized cargo or experiments
Blue Moon Mk 1 is available under NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services program. Two flights are self-funded by Blue Origin, with the first currently planned for Q1 2025
All materials and textures are packed in the Blend file. Modifiers, geometry nodes, and instancing have been used to enable easy editing
