Born out of wartime urgency, the Sten Mk II was Britain’s bold answer to a desperate need: a weapon that was fast, cheap, and easy to make. Designed in just weeks after the Dunkirk evacuation, it used only 47 parts and could be built by civilian workshops bringing firepower to the British troops, special forces, and underground fighters across occupied Europe.
Chambered in 9x19mm, with a side mounted 32 round magazine, the Mk II fired at 500 rounds per minute and had an effective range of about 100 meters. Its crude, simple, utilitarian look, made it prone to jamming but deadly at close quarters
It helped turn the tide of the war from the shadows and became a symbol of the british effort.
The model is based in gunsmithng drawings and high definition pictures of the reak object, it is also excellent for close renders and suitable for videogames purposes.
