Safety cage ladder 3D model
Safety cage ladders are very commonly used for maintenance works at large heights.
This cageladder is a parametric part and is only available for Autodesk Inventor (2012 or newer). It's a singular fixed cageladder that can be used for object heights from 5 to 10 meters. The only thing you have to do is: fill in the height of the building, tank or other object. After that the calculations will be done within the 3d model and in a few seconds your ladder is ready for use!
The part is a so called "ipart" and is really perfect to use in your Autodesk Inventor Content Center. A super timesaving 3d model if you need a safety cage ladder in your design.
For heights above 10 meters we have a double cage ladder available in our 3d parts assortment.

This is a high quality asset and worked well for my needs. I could see having to do a good bit of extra work if I needed to use the model for manufacture because of loose fitting rungs and the fact that it is a part and not assembly, so it would be a bit of work to have each component of the ladder "weldment" in a separate drawing view. I only needed this to show that a ladder is a certain length and dimension its location relative to the rest of the structure I was modelling, and this model filled that role perfectly and was easy to configure.
