Are you constantly worried that your stocking hanger will fall off the mantle? This clamping stocking hanger is the solution. This is a Christmas Tree Stocking Hanger that clamps onto the mantle, so there is no chance it will fall off.

This is the second version of this file. The only change that was made is that now the clamping ring is separated into two different pieces so that the two pieces can be used as something resembling a locking bolt. This allows, the clamping ring to stay on the assembly without being glued. If you have a previous version of this file, the only thing that needs to be re-printed to update the file is the clamping ring.

• Supports: No
• Orientation (print everything in an orientation to maximize strength and minimize supports):
  • Print the Treetop on its bottom
  • Print the Tree Body Halves on their flat sides
  • Print the Nut on its bottom
  • Print the Bass Body on its side
  • Print the Clamping Ring on its bottom

ColorsIt is suggested to print the pieces to the tree in green and the pieces to the base in wight.

Assembly

• Measure the thickness of your mantle and print the corresponding base thickness (there are bases that are compatible with mantles in thicknesses of a few millimeters to 100 mm)
• Print the rest of the pieces
• Put the two tree body halves together
• Screws the treetop onto the top of two tree body halves
• Screws the nut onto the bottom of two tree body halves
• Screw the tree into the base body
• Screw the clamping ring top onto the tree
• Screw the clamping ring bottom onto the tree
• Screw the clamping ring top and bottom together to lock them on
• Glue the clamping ring onto the tree (optional)
• Clamp the assembly onto the mantle
• Put the stocking on the assembly
