Description

This is the instruction booklet to make a radio controlled model of the iconic Type 42 destroyer operated by the Royal Navy from 1975 through to 2013.

These Type 42 destroyers were used during the Falklands War, HMS Sheffield herself was destroyed and sunk by an Argetine Exocet missile on the 4th May 1982.

The booklet contains 30 pages of detailed instructions that is offered here free so that you can understand the process of building the model before purchasing the stl files on cgtrader.

The model is designed to be built at a scale of 1/72nd creating a model that is 1720mm long, 200mm wide and 500mm tall.

It is a model that sails extremely well, and will turn heads at a model boating pond.

The set of stl files will complete the whole model that you see in the photographs. The only extras you will need are motors, propellor shafts and rudders. All hull, superstructure, fittings including railings are part of this comprehensive kit.
