I needed a hot light for doing video, and I had some old Elinchrom D-Light 2 Softboxes lying around. I created an insert that fits perfectly inside the Speed Ring and sits onto a standard light stand with a hole to insert a light bulb socket that you can buy on Amazon (https://amzn.to/2YHjiig) for a 1500+ lumin LED bulb. Also, noticing that the mount is only vertical, I created an adjustable angle adapter (https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/gadgets/video/light-stand-adjustable-angle-adapter) that you can 3D print easily as well. If you 3D print it laying on the back side, you won't need supports. I printed with 100% fill because I wanted the part that mounts on the light stand to be as strong as possible.
