DESCRIPTION

Introduction

This is a printable mouse bungee that mounts to the back of your desk by an included screw. It helps keeping your mouse cord from getting tangled into the back of your desk or other stuff on it.

The model does not require additional tools to be put together.

Important: You'll need both a hard plastic like PLA and a flexible filament like TPU to print this.

Instructions:

  1. Print the base (Base.stl) and the screw (Screw.stl). I recommend printing the base lying on its back. This way you don't need any supports. The model will be stronger if you print it on the side, but as long as you have good adhesion, it should not be any problem.

  2. Print out the rods (Rod.stl x 2). It is important that you print this in a flexible filament. These can be pressure-fit inside the two holes of the base and tip. Print it with the flat surface facing down.

  3. Print out the tip and clip (Tip.stl and Clip.stl). Print the tip with the flat surface facing down, and the clip on its side.

  4. Mount the bungee on your desk, put your mouse cord into the middle of the tip. Then put the clip over and slide it in the rails to lock it. It will be pressure fit from the cord, so it will not slide out.
