DESCRIPTION

This is a simple clip-on birthday pin. This pin simply clips onto someone's shirt so that they can celebrate their birthday in style.

Print Instructions

  • Material: PLA or PETG (two different colors of filament make the pin stand out more, but this is not required)
  • Supports: Yes
    • The underside of the pin clip requires supports
  • Orientation: Place the pin face down on the build plate
  • Color change (although this pin does work if printed in only one color, a dual color effect makes it stand out better):
    • The dual color effect can be achieved with a simple filament swap on the body of the pin
    • The dual color effect can also be achieved with the double pass technique, detailed by Make Anything in this video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_SXRGGoTQo.

  • Birthday Pin - All (This file includes the text and the body of the pin. It will have to be split apart before printing)
  • Birthday Pin - Body (This file only includes the body of the pin. Use this file if you plan to use a simple filament swap to achieve the double color effect, or if you would not like to use the double color effect.)
