worried about copyright for program i'm using.

Discussion started by colinfamous0001

I'm worried about copyright for using another company's 3d builder program and objects, what I made is my own idea, but the program I'm building on is not my own, and the parts I used is cut from the original company's parts included with the program.

As for the program, usually that's not a problem, because vast majority of them do not restrict you to use products created with it in any way. And for the parts - it depends. Most 3d authoring programs ships with some pre build parts (primitives) to aid modelling process. Usually it is safe to use it and sell your products, but to be sure you must read end user license agreement. There have to be written everything you should know.
