Naval Cannon Model

Discussion started by redbenstudios

I just put out a new 18th century naval cannon model. The design is inspired from the Armstrong Frederick pattern, which was designed for the Royal Navy towards the end of the 1700s. The design makes use of a slow match and linstock, which was the primary firing mechanism for cannons until the flintlock mechanism was later adapted.
This model scales perfectly with my sailing ship models, which are researched from period and contemporary sources.
