Hi, I'm new here and I noticed there are a number of 3D models for sale of characters from video games, such as Final Fantasy, etc... So I'm guessing that's perfectly legal if it's your own work/recreation, but I'm curious how it works, exactly....like is it ok to do that and even use the name of the character from the game without licensing/intellectual property issues? Or does it explicitly depend on if stuff is "trademarked," etc...?
