DESCRIPTION

I'm sharing my design here for a set of slip rollers. I did this design a while back when I needed something for rolling bowl feeder rims and couldn't find something appropriately sized for the right cost.

The design is primarily cut & folded plate, with a couple of machined parts. I made a couple of tweaks to the design so that it can now be built entirely with hand tools if that's your thing. Either way, you will need to do some welding or brazing.

Included in this pack are all the .pdf drawings you need, .DXF files for laser cutting the plate parts, .STEP files for CNC folding, as well as all the native Solid Works files.

The design is fairly simple, and tolerant of making some adjustments to suit your manufacturing process. I have included some notes on the .pdf's that are hopefully helpful.Note that the sprockets & chain aren't critical. I've noted what I used, but it'll be fine replacing these with whatever you have at hand or locally available.

There is not a specification for maximum thickness / width's etc. as I haven't had a need to work out the maximums. I'm making rings of 1.5mm 304 stainless and it's fine, but beyond that I'd be guessing.

Flick me an email if you have questions or need any more information and I'll be happy to help :)
