Dimetrodon Loomisi All Parts STL

Dimetrodon Loomisi All Parts STL 3D print model

Description

The Collection of All Parts of my Dimetrodon Loomisi modified for STL 3D Printing

Measurements for the assembled model are approximately: 4.8 in X 11.6 in X 5.7 in ( 12.24 cm X 29.59 cm X 14.58 cm ).

Some assembly required. Video assembly guide included.

Note 1: This is the result of my first attempt at posing a model before modifying it for the STL format. As far as I can tell, it turned out pretty well. Please feel free to offer your own opinions on this model.

Note 2: I've embedded the assembly guide for this model for viewing and critiquing. Thanks to Alex for his advise on this matter. The assembly guides for my other models requiring assembly are available for viewing and critiquing on Youtube, and I may embed them as well for the appropriate models. Please feel free to offer your opinions on them. The models thus far are the Dilophosaurus, Eolambia, Short-faced Bear, Uintatherium, Dimetrodon, and the newly-added Edaphosaurus. In order to view the guides on Youtube, just enter the name of the model, followed by "assembly guide". For the Short-faced Bear, you can alternatively enter the name "arctodus". For the Dimetrodon and the Edaphosaurus, exclude the species names.

At some point, I hope to get a 3D printer so I can print each of my models and see how well they work. In the coming months, once I get the printer, I'll give each model a test print to see how it works. Those that work I may make live videos of me putting them together. Those that don't work I'll modify and replace with models that will work. I expect the earliest time for this to be some time in early December. In the mean time, any ideas on how I can embed my tutorials on the pages of my models?

I see that - always better to have your own machine and test every design by yourself. We had 3D Printing Competition a few months ago - now winners enjoy their new Ultimaker's. I'm sure we will make more challenges upcoming months and be sure to stick around here :) If you have video tutorials where everyone can see how you made your model - you could embed it through Upload Model page - see that page where you uploaded files. Let me know if you need any assistance with that!

Here's an update. It turns out I'm getting a 3D printer a month earlier than I stated, so I should be able to make those live tutorials earlier than I suggested.
