A highly detailed 3D model of the Stern Crane (Jib Crane) equipped on the Battleship Yamato.This model is designed to replace standard kit parts for a significant detail upgrade.
Key FeaturesTamiya Compatible: The mounting base is designed to be compatible with the Tamiya 1/350 Premium Yamato kit for easy installation.Historical Accuracy (Operation Ten-Go):Historical research and photographs suggest that the Aerial Wire Mast (Antenna Strut) atop the crane was removed during the final mission, Operation Ten-Go (1945).We have included two versions: one With Mast (early/mid-war) and one Without Mast (Ten-Go spec), so you can build your preferred version.
Note on Wires & Rigging:Please note that the crane cables/wires are NOT included in the 3D mesh.Printing scale-accurate wires would be too fragile and result in poor print quality. We strongly recommend adding your own metal wire or rigging thread for the most realistic finish.(Please refer to the reference diagram in the product images for rigging layout.)
Note for Advanced Modelers:This model features delicate truss structures. High-resolution resin printing is required.
