- Integrated Design: The troop standby area at the rear of the main bridge is modeled as an integrated part.
- Ready for Super-Detailing:
- All doors are modeled as open holes, designed for use with Photo-Etched (PE) parts. No drilling is required.
- Windows and wind deflectors are also modeled as open.
- By using separately sold outfitting data (Directors, Binoculars, etc.), you can create a realistic look with open shutters and visible internal mechanisms.
- Printer Compatibility:
- Integrated Version: For large printers (e.g., Elegoo Saturn class).
- Split Version: For standard printers (e.g., Elegoo Mars class).
Compatibility & Installation Guide (Please Read Carefully)
- Base Kit: Designed based on the dimensions of the Tamiya Premium Yamato hull.
- No Part Mixing: This model represents a unique interpretation and is slightly larger than the plastic kit parts. It is NOT compatible with the kit's plastic superstructure parts. You cannot mix this Main Bridge with the kit's funnel section, for example. It is a full replacement set.
- Hull Modification: When installing on the Tamiya hull, you must cut/remove the front and rear positioning ribs molded onto the plastic hull.
- Screws: The screw mounting holes are aligned with the Tamiya hull positions, so you can fix it using the original screws.
- Wood Decks: While wood deck stickers can be used, the outer edge of this 3D model includes a border detail. aligning this perfectly with the pre-cut wood deck sticker might be difficult. Painting the deck is recommended for the best finish.
