- With Radar Version: Includes the Type 21 Radar and the reinforcement girders added during the refit. Note that printing these parts is extremely difficult due to their delicacy.
- No Radar Version: A version without the radar and girders is included for modelers who prefer to use Photo-Etched (PE) parts for these fine details.
- Historical Accuracy & Detailing:
- Base: Reproduces the reinforced base structure, believed to be a lesson learned from the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
- Signaling Station (Transmission Room): Modeled based on the Battleship Musashi diving survey data. While some theories suggest Yamato's station lacked observation windows, this model includes them to enhance the visual detail and presence of the finished kit.
