DESCRIPTION

A detailed model of the Royal Caribbean International cruise ship Ovation of The Seas, optimized for 1/1.250 resin printing but very easily printable at larger or smaller scales.

The shipping company Royal Caribbean International commissioned the Ovation of the Seas in May 2013 with planned delivery in mid-2016 as the third unit of the Quantum class from Meyer Werft. Construction began on September 18, 2014 with the cutting of the first steel plate, the name was announced on the same day. The ship was laid down on March 5, 2015. As part of the Meyer Werft construction strategy, a 120 meter long section was undocked on June 20, 2015. A second section was undocked on August 14, 2015 to allow Norwegian Escape to undock. Both sections were then docked again for completion.
