DESCRIPTION

Model 192 ISINGLASS was designed as a Mach 20 hypersonic reconnaissance aircraft for the CIA in the mid-1960s. A boost-glide vehicle launched from a B-52 bomber, it was cancelled due to high cost and technological limitations of the day.

This 3D model is based on declassified drawings of the unmanned variant. Note that the rear landing skid is provisional since no information is currently available on the actual design.

The printable model has fuselage, engine and landing gear and skids as separate parts. Two fuselage models, clean in flight configuration or with gear bays for a gear down model. Printable model units are millimeters scaled to 1/144 with 161 mm length and 55 mm wingspan.
