1/11
1/1800th scale Emden Cruiser model. Certain elements not to scale.
The German cruiser Emden was a unique light cruiser built between 1921–1925 as the first major German warship constructed after World War I under the restrictions of the Treaty of Versailles. She was lost when scuttled in 1945 to prevent capture. Her original armament consisted of eight 150 mm guns in single mounts, three 88 mm guns, and four 500 mm torpedo tubes; later refits strengthened her anti-aircraft battery with 105 mm, 37 mm, and 20 mm weapons while reducing some older equipment.
This model is designed and tested at 1/1800th scale, but up-scaling and down-scaling are possible. Since the model is optimized for 1/1800th scale, it is not ideal to print larger versions due to a lack of detail. The gun barrels and mast have been enlarged.
This is part of my collection of WWII warships, keep an eye out for more to come. If you have a specific request, message me and I'll bump it up my list.
Tested with PLA at .1mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
